Why We Did It
ASCD has always aspired to make Annual Conference an experience accessible to all. Keenly aware of many schools’ financial restrictions and the challenges associated with international travel, ASCD created a virtual conference that enabled anyone with an Internet connection to tune in to sessions, participate in the goings-on of conference, and interact with speakers in real time.

Virtual Option Extends Reach of ASCD Annual Conference
For the first time, ASCD offered a fully virtual conference, which ran concurrently with the 2012 ASCD Annual Conference.
